SUPPORT GROUPS (held monthly):
Lake Charles Area Parkinson Support Group -
In affiliation with CHRISTUS St. Patrick
Hospital. Held every 3rd Thursday.
Orange County Support Group of Movers and
Shakers and their Care Partners - Held in
Orange, Texas every 1st Wednesday.
Beaumont Area Support Group - Held in
Beaumont, Texas every 1st Tuesday.
Care Partners Support Group - Every other
month held at same time as Lake Charles Area
Parkinson Support Group.
* Community Partners for Parkinson Care (CPP):
Community Partners for Parkinson Care is an
initiative of the National Parkinson Foundation
and funded through the Medtronic Foundation.
Through this the Eljay Foundation is one of
seven NPF Chapters dedicated to informing whole
communities and building community partnerships
to provide resources and support to improve
access to care by linking every person with
Parkinson's disease to points of service.

for professional who care for people with
Parkinson's disease)
Educational Videos and DVDs (from exercise to
Deep Brain Stimulation and motivational videos
and dvds)
Educational Books (National Parkinson
Foundation series of informational resources,

* Community Connect:
"In Touch", (quarterly newsletter that
reaches over 800 homes and businesses)
"Weekly Eblast ( weekly electronic
communication of current and note worthy
information sent to our online community of over
400 friends and supporters via internet.)
